Just want to share my favorite breakfast as of late.
It’s fall and pumpkin is everywhere- from the patches to my table to my front porch to my fridge- I can’t get enough right now.
So- I thought it’d be only appropriate to add it to my morning bowl of oatmeal. With the classic pumpkin pie spices- cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger…
Topped with brown sugar, cold milk, walnuts, and banana— I present to you:
Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup oats (regular classic, not quick cooking)
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbs pureed pumpkin (pure- from the can- NOT pumpkin pie filling)
- pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger
- top with: milk, brown sugar, walnuts, banana- your choice really.
