Daniel gave me an assignment yesterday.
It was hot out. And we had a bunch of ripe melon to use up. He told me to get to work!
So I made this lemonade. And it was delicious.
Melon Basil Frozen Lemonade
- 3 cups fresh melon (I used tigger melon, as pictured above)
- 2 lemons, squeezed
- 4 basil leaves, plus more to garnish
- 1/2 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup ice
Directions: Blend, taste, follow your gut on adding what it needs. Mine did not need sugar- but add some if you like your lemonade sweeter!
The basil and melon have such a lightness, and compliment each other so well. This is VERY refreshing! Enjoy!
